LJ Hooker Surfers Paradise has proved that people are interested in buying in the Gold Coast property auction market and prefer to be at the site of sale.

LJ Hooker Surfers Paradise Principal and Licencee Rick Graham said there was an outstanding number of interested buyers at the auction held on Saturday at 51 Salerno Street, Isle of Capri where there property sold under the hammer above the reserve price.

“During the four week marketing campaign there were over 100 inspections in total, 26 inspections on sale day at the auction and seven registered bidders,” said Mr Graham.

“There have been many interested buyers from the local area, Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Benowa and Ashmore.  This indicates that there are a large number of local buyers wanting to invest in the property market while it is poised to increase.”

Mr Graham said that the property was a deceased estate and that LJ Hooker Surfers Paradise Residential Agent Edward Lane formulated a four week auction marketing strategy designed specifically for the sellers to make a quick sale at the best possible price – mission accomplished.

“The sellers didn’t want to have a long drawn out sale so they choose LJ Hooker Surfers Paradise because they had confidence in agent Mr Lanes advice and the agencies reputation for listening to our client’s needs,” said Mr Graham.

“Mr Lane quickly identified the property value and where it was positioned in the market.  The marketing campaign was a huge success and there were a number of prospective buyers, interstate phone bidders and interest continues even now after the auction with enquires coming in about 51 Salerno Street and future properties going to auction.”

“Mr Lane predicts another very successful auction this weekend at 38 Allied Drive Arundel at 1.30pm.  This is the right place to make an investment in a high growth residential area. The property’s close proximity to Griffith University, The Gold Coast University Hospital, public transport and the Goldlinq Lightrail makes for a smart investment.”

“This property is a three bedroom + study with swimming pool and the block is 656 m2.  It’s an ideal family home or an investment rental property.”
